Davidson Homes Partners with Earnnest to Bring Homebuyers a Digital Payment Solution

What is Earnnest?

Davidson Homes is always looking for ways to improve and simplify the home buying process. With this in mind, we are pleased to announce our new partnership with Earnnest, a fully digital platform for the transfer of funds in real estate transactions.

Earnnest is an app that allows you to send your earnest money electronically to the escrow holder. Rather than writing and delivering a paper check, you can complete the entire earnest money process in just a couple minutes with your smart device or computer!

What does this mean for our homebuyers?

For their initial contract deposit (or earnest money), our homebuyers will now have the option to send funds electronically. No more driving across town to hand-deliver a check to your agent or to the escrow holder!

Frequently Asked Questions

How secure is Earnnest?

Earnnest uses the 256-bit AES encryption standard chosen by financial institutions and the U.S. Government. This standard is the most advanced and secure encryption algorithm, so you can be sure your money will be safe.

How can I use Earnnest?

Your Davidson Homes New Home Consultant will invite you (via text and email) to authorize the earnest money transfer. Simply follow the instructions on the invitation. It’s that easy!

Am I charged a fee for using Earnnest?

Earnnest charges the homebuyer a flat $15 processing fee per transaction. By contrast, a single wire can require a fee ranging from $25-$45.
